We specialize in personal injury cases and we can help you navigate the complexities of personal injury law, insurance filings, settlement negotiations, and courtroom trials.
Some of the services we provide are as follows.
Gathering Evidence To Support Your Case: Evidence can include medical reports, police reports, machine or vehicle maintenance logs, and the personal work histories of individuals responsible for an accident such as a motor vehicle operator or healthcare worker. We will also obtain photos, videos, and witness statements that can support your case.
Quantifying Your Damages: You must quantify your losses before submitting a claim to an insurer for compensation. Overestimating your damages can harm your case by increasing the chances of an outright denial. Underestimating your damages can leave you on the hook for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by your settlement.
Filing Your Claim: You must file your claim or sue for damages within fixed timeframes. Missing your filing window can lead to a forfeiture of your right to seek compensation.
Helping You Understand Your Rights And Responsibilities: We are here to help you fight for the compensation you deserve after your accident. Do not be intimidated by the responsible insurer or the at-fault party and do not accept the first settlement package you are offered. You must seek legal counsel after an accident to safeguard your rights and correctly complete all of the legal, insurance, and administrative formalities that apply to your case.
Contact our Irvington personal injury lawyers today for a free, no-obligation case evaluation. The Township of Irvington is located in Essex County, New Jersey. It has a population of about 55,000. Glacial ice covered what is now Irvington about 15,000 years ago, and as the ice melted, the land’s present-day contours were developed. The area’s first inhabitants were subtribes of the Lenni Lenape, and during the early years of the 18th century, farms, a sawmill, a cider mill, and a distillery were established. A building boom that lasted until 1930 helped stabilize the town’s population and Polish-Americans, Italian-Americans, Ukrainian-Americans settled in the city in throngs. Riots in nearby Newark led many black families to settle in Irvington from Newark. While the town was almost exclusively white in 1965, black residents represented 70% of the town’s population by 1990.

New Jersey is a no-fault state, and you must file a claim with your insurer for compensation for accident-related losses and damages. However, in some cases, you may be able to sue for damages. This can happen if you, for example, suffered catastrophic damages, which are defined as personal injuries above a certain threshold. In other cases such as animal attacks, the animal owner is strictly liable and you can file for compensation from the animal owner’s insurer.
There are a few steps you can take to improve your chances of winning a full and fair settlement. First, preserve all accident-related evidence, and immediately undergo medical treatment. Delaying treatment can adversely affect your case. Have Team Law evaluate your damages, and be patient because it takes time to build and fight a case. Assert your position and be sure to file on time.
It depends on the kind of accident you were involved in. Nursing home workers including staff and administrators can be liable for nursing home injuries. Doctors, nurses, and hospital administrators can be liable for patient injuries in medical facilities. Other drivers, a vehicle maintenance team, a road repair team, or a commercial entity such as a trucking company can be at fault for vehicle accidents, and employers and machine operators can be at fault for any workplace or machine-related accidents and injuries. The accident attorneys in Irvington, NJ with Team Law will help you identify the party responsible for your damages so that we can handle your case for you accordingly.
