A young child died after being struck by a car on a roadway in Plainfield, New Jersey. The fatal accident occurred around 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Park Avenue and West Second Street in Plainfield NJ and just one block away from the Plainfield train station. The victim, a three-year-old girl, was being led across the street in a stroller by her mother when a red Toyota Camry sedan crashed into both of them. A dietary supplements company based out of California has issued a major product recall of vitamins due to risk of serious illness. Pharmavite, LLC, which manufactures the extremely popular Nature Made brand of vitamins, has issued a voluntary recall of several supplements because some of the company’s products could expose consumers to salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus. Subaru issues recall of vehicles with steering failure defect

Subaru, the Japan-based auto manufacturer, recently took swift action to warn some vehicle owners to immediately cease driving cars with a serious product defect. The recall affects 2016 and 2017 Subaru Legacy vehicles and Subaru Outback vehicles, which are some of the company’s most popular models.
