Uber, the major online transportation company, has resolved two class-action lawsuits by drivers who wanted the company to make changes to improve work conditions and provide Uber drivers with “employee status. Amazon warehouse in new jersey fined by osha for failing to document workplace injuries

Amazon was recently hit with fines by the U.S. Department of Labor for allegedly failing to properly document work-related injuries and illnesses. The fines were levied against Amazon’s fulfillment center in Robbinsville, New Jersey. The 1.2 million-square-foot center, which is located just off Route 539 in Robbinsville, typically employs approximately 2,500 people. During the most recent holiday period, the warehouse had in excess of 4,000 full-time employees.
